Sleet shower Rainbow

(Click on the images to enlarge them)

During a drive today across the Moss of Achnacree I managed to capture this full rainbow as the sun came out at the end of a heavy shower of sleet.

Same rainbow with a telephoto lens.

More snow pictures

Looking from Oban bay over to the snowy hills on the Isle of Mull. The boat with the flags is the Hebridean Princess, a cruise liner which regularly operates out of here. The Queen chartered her a few years ago for the family summer cruise.

I stood on the bridge across Loch Etive to get this view of a cloud capped Ben Cruachan.

Loch Etive and the hills to the east of Benderloch.

Same view as yesterday (see below) but more snow has fallen overnight.
